Zero Balance Account can be opened by and/.or for Minors in the age
group of over 3years to below 18yrs.
In
case of Minors between the age group of 3-12 yrs, the account
should be operated by their respective natural guardians or
court appointed guardian.
Minors
above the age of 12 yrs. May be however, operated by the account
holder i.e. the said Minor.
Features:
The account holders being Minors will be
permitted to maintain their Savings Account at Zero Balance.
Although the account will have to be opened with a minimum of
Rs.100/- as stated above.
Cheque books will be issued.
Children above the age of 12 will be allowed
to operate the account on their own. The parents or guardians
as the case may be permitted to operate the account.
Minors above 14yrs of age will have the benefit
of free ATM cards with a daily cash withdrawal limit of Rs 5,000/-
only.
Photograph of Guardian/parent should be submitted
In case of children above 12 years of age, child’s
photograph alongwith signature of the
parent on the reverse of the photograph should be submitted
