For the protection of our customers, w.e.f. 28 November 2014, SVC Co-operative Bank Ltd. will reconfigure its Internet Banking Website Security Settings to block inbound traffic using SSL 3.0 or SSL 2.0.
What does this mean?
- If you have not updated your browser and you still have SSL 3.0 or SSL 2.0 enabled, you will be unable to access SVC Bank’s Personal or Corporate Internet Banking web page
- If you have Microsoft XP operating system, using IE6 or older versions of Chrome and Firefox, you will be unable to access SVC Bank’s Internet Banking Login Screen
What should I do?
- Update your web browser to use IE 10.0 +
- Disable SSL 3.0 and SSL 2.0 from browser settings, if they are currently enabled
- Do not connect to the internet via unsecured networks or unprotected Wi-Fi connections
